Here is the start of a Book called Into the Crypt, by Ingrid Dijkers. What an awesome class with a lot of information to take home. Got to get busy and work on this book too.

The next journal is from Diana Trout. Her Rescue Book class at journalfest 2010. This book is pretty much done now I need to use it.

Here are some journals I have been working on they are all work's in progress. I started most of them in classes I have taken from other artist, who are amazing and great teachers. The first journal is from Orly Avineri's - Passport to journal class, actually this book is complete for me even though there is nothing in it yet. It was a real letting go and create for me. Thank you Sarah Skinner Greener for the the passport it means the world to me.

Valentine Rocks, love heart shaped rocks, been collecting them for about 15 years now, have put many in a fountain I built. Some have stories, some just are what they are. They are all treasures to me.

My Life long friend gave me this crochet heart valentine many years ago, it is still so very dear to me.

It feels like spring lately, so I took down my 70 sum snowflake I hung up, back at the end of November. I just love having all those snowflakes floating around from the ceiling in my living room. Since they are winter and not holiday I leave them until now. I try to add a few every year. This originally started when I had a coffee shop and I hung them up there, the customers loved them. Also it was my employee's, customers, and friends and I who started making them. This all started about 6 or 7 years ago. I don't have the coffee shop anymore, but I still continue the snowflake traditions and try to get family and friends to make snowflakes. It is so cool to see all the different style and when they are put together it makes them all shine.

This is where the Art Annex is. And my friend Cynthia, we were taking pics of each other for the 10:00 for the 5th of Feb. Photo a day.

These trees really have yarn knitted around them, way cool.

More of Seattle

Seattle thru my eyes this weekend

Went to Seattle this weekend and took a class from Jane Davenport, at Teesha and Tracy Moore's Art Annex in Pioneer Square. It was an amazing class. I learned a lot from Jane, I have always wanted to draw face and bodies now I have a starting point thanks to the class. Jane also showed us a few different ways to use our art supplies "so awesome". Here is a couple of my drawings, these are all first tries, can't wait to practice and draw some more. Also here's some pictures of the city. The shaky one is of Seattle on a moving ferry and lots of wind but I thought it was pretty cool anyway. Also some building in Pioneer Square. With a view at home that is mountains and ocean, it made me appreciate the architect of the buildings in the city. I hadn't been to the city in many years, and I use to live here, right downtown. I really need to visit the city more often.
