This lovely owl is sitting on my suitcase's, packed with art supplies of course. She has her hat on and she is ready for the next adventure. This was done in pen, watercolor and prismacolor. Prints are available.

My Cozy Corner

Out on my porch this beautiful weekend, sketching in one of my hand made sketch journals. Watching the birds, the sparrows have hatched I can hear the little peeps when momma arrives with bugs. I will miss the cozy little porch, I have spent a many days here watching life go by. People who know me say don't worry we know you and you will make another cozy corner to escape to.

I saw this picture on the web, wish I could find it again to show the owner their house in watercolor. I did change it some and made it my own little dream place.
This is my first watercolor, I have always had a love-hate for watercolor, now I am really liking it.   This piece is called "Sweet Escape"

"SOLD"

This is the art piece I sold in March, it is a mixed media piece, where a collage piece with many textures and the crow and a photo with a silhouette of a tree through a sunset at the Dungeness Spit are all merged together.

A journal I started back in July, a retreat I went to called "The Thread That Weaves" by: Roxanne Evans Stout. What a fabulous class, I believe she teaches this project online now too.
